Description
Stunningly hand-carved walrus ivory into an extra-large Swimming Walrus with fossilized ivory and baleen inlay eyes. The nails being baleen inlay and large bottom of walrus tusk with swimming walrus carved in it and baleen inlay eyes by Siberian Yupik artist Dennis Pungowiyi of Savoonga, Alaska. (The base having some of the cavity ramaining inside.)
