Intricately detailed scene of a “Screaming Eagle” flying over mountains, a river and trees;?ÿscrimshawed onto a cut of fossilized Walrus tusk, mounted on a flat cut of Ivory.
This piece also features a divot in the center of the scrimshaw indicating a piece like this used to be used as a “Firestarter”.
